News on Angels And Vampires? I know we've been over this, but what's the deal with TTD/SM's newest effort? Is it only available through his website or is it ever coming out in stores? Is it an album or a macro-album cycle? Lastly, is it any good? (all his other albums are great IMO, so I would assume he hasn't lost his touch quite yet).

Oh ye of little faith...Has Sananda ever let you down? That's what I thought.
Here's the deal....Yes, as of right now it is only available through www.sanandamaitreya.com . You first have to download the weedshare software at www.weedshare.com in order to be able to download the music from his site. He does plan on eventually putting it on cd but that still pretty far away, since he's only halfway through the album so far. As of today, he has released three installments/chapters containing a total of 10 brand new songs. The songs are great, but don't take my word for it. With the weedshare software, you can listen to each song 3 times for free. After that, if you want to own the music you will be prompted to purchase them. It's approximately $1.00 for each song, a bargain in my opinion. If you are still unsure of whether you want to buy them, head over to his website and download some music (can't understand why you've waited so long). I would recommend that you definitely check out "Dolphin", "Losing Becomes Too Easy", "Bella Faccina", and "Share Your Pain" for sure. They are all great but these are a few of my favorites. Now stop procrastinating [Edited 12/10/04 21:43pm]

My favourites are: Losing Becomes To Easy, We Are The Living and Requiem.
The third chapter is the best so far IMO. It will be released on CD, just aint known when it´s gonna be.

I haven't been able to listen to them. My Music Match Software says something about needing an update, but it won't update or open the songs. The weed software seems to be just if you want to buy the songs. Any suggestions? Check this song out at:

A while ago Lily posted some info about that at the website www.sanandamaitreya.com. I believe it had something to do with Windows, she also wrote how you can download them without having that problem. I have Windows XP myself and never had any problems, but you're not the first. You don't have to buy the songs untill you've listened to them 3 times, than you can choose to buy or not to. Goodluck, I hope you'll get to listen to them, they are great.

I just picked up "Vibrator" the other day. It would be cool to hear some of these songs live. "Holding on to You" is definitely one of my favorites thus far.

Vibrator is such a great album and the concert of the Vibrator tour I attended was the best concert I have ever seen in my whole life and I have seen some great concerts in my life (including 50 by a guy called Prince ) With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! He always performs several songs from all his albums. I saw him 3 times on his WildCard tour, he always did "Holdong On To You". It's also one of my favourites.

You don't have to start with first cd...I have that one... My favourites are Neither Fish Nor Flesh and Vibrator. IMO Symphony Or Damn and WildCard are also great albums, I think it doesn't really matter with what album you start, it depends on what kind of music you like. NFNF was very experimental at that time (1989) almost all kinds of music are represented on that one. SOD is a bit of funk mixed with rock. Vibrator is mostly rock. WildCard is more Soul/R&B. You can always start with his 2-CD Greatest Hits, to find out which songs you like best. Than get that album. It's all great to me. On all albums he's got some great ballads.

You don't have to start with first cd...I have that one... Here's what I did..... I went to one of his concerts in Amsterdam I thought it would be fun (not owning one of his cd's), the show was great and I was totally impressed. The day after I bought all of his cd's at once.... I really like Vibrator, Wildcard and Symphony or Damn....hard to pick the best out of them but I think I have to go with Vibrator.... The ballads on al three albums are so beautiful! If I have to recommend one song.....Holding on to you...he performed that one live and I was like ....goosebumps all over... He is a lyrical master! --------------------------------------------------

I'm listening to them now. The songs are real good, if flawed ("Dolphin up, Dolphin sad, but Dolphin never be too mad?" sorry if I misquoted it, but that's the gist of it), as always.
He's going for more of a stripped down rock sound than on Wild Card. I like Losing Becomes Too Easy, Dolphin, Bella Facina, It Ain't Been Easy. But it sounds kind of underproduced, like a demo tape. Does anyone else notice this? Check this song out at:
