Is Beyonce gonna pull a Diana Ross? (not a seabiscuit weave comparison) so is it gonna be Beyonce and Destiny's Child like it was Diana Ross and the Supremes (they used to just be The Supremes). Why did she make another album with them anyway? She sings lead on practically all the damn songs...neither Michelle or Kelly had what i would call "superstar" quality solo albums...they just seem like backup singers to the mighty weaved one you look better on your facebook page than you do in person  | |

wasn't it rumored B recorded like 60 tracks for her cd and she was going to release a second album. than all of a sudden DC was getting back together. I would tend to buy ehuffsnd's theory.
My guess is she wanted to stay visible without appearing overexposed so she used the "DC" cover to make some more songs. DC gives her an appearance of being a part of a group because Kelly has had a coupla hits and a grammy and Michelle Williams charted too, I think. Please! Diana Ross is one of the greatest entertainers! I ain't sayin' the woman can sing great (her voice has always been thin), but she's pure entertainment, be it intentional or not. Beyonce, while kinda fun, is trying too damn much to be the hardest working woman in show business. If she just slowed down some and took a little more time, she might release something more memorable and a little less in-the-moment. Her music's a'ight, but is any of it gonna be remembered in 10 years? I'd guess not. Most of Diana Ross' 60s and 70s catalogue is classic. Just my  | |
