letters to santa benefit at the second city etc theater (312-664-4032) 1608 n wells, chicago december 21-22 24 hours long begins tuesday at 8:30pm ends wednesday at 8:30pm musicians times are tuesday 10pm jeff tweedy wednesday 12am steve albini & rian murphy wednesday noon robbie fulks wednesday 3pm billy corgan wednesday 5:30pm the blisters wednesday 7pm sally timms & jon langford $10 to get in for the entire event- as seating is available jeff tweedy will auction off two items- 1.a private concert in your home for 20 friends- you pick 20 songs- 2 of them can be covers and he will learn them. 2. record a duet with jeff tweedy and you keep the recording steve will also have an auction item available. | |

I like Steve Albini and I loved the Pumpkins. Haven't seen Billy since 2000 and I am kinda excited about his solo thing. If I wasn't so sick, I'd be there for sure. | |
