Would you pay to see Queen + Paul Rodgers Live Would you pay $50.00 for a decent seat to see Queen + Paul Rodgers Live? They are supposed to be performing songs from Queen,Free and Bad Company.

no. i wouldn't even go for free or watch a taped version on PBS. i think it would be a little sad. part of what made queen amazing to me was freddie's energy - and paul rodgers just ain't got it. if they would have brought on a younger or even more animated front man (or woman!), i'd be tempted.

I would and I will be...definately! it'll be my only chance to see the remaining members of Queen on stage - a dream I've had for many years now

It would be nice to hear the music of queen but not with Paul Rodgers. I seen him with Bad Co. open for Styx a few years back and he has NO stage presence.(but don't tell him he thinks he does)

No, but I would pay to see Queen play along to Mercury's vocal tracks. Maybe some video thrown in. Gots to have the Queen light show, however. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

Word. I saw him several years ago with the Jimmy Page project, The Firm, and that was also kind of lame. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

I don't know, depends on how good the seats were and how far i had to drive(90 % of the time I have to make a road trip to see a concert, nobody comes here) I love Queen and as most people have said in this thread, its not the same without freddie. I agree, But I also like Paul Rodgers and the various groups he has been in(Free, Bad Co, The Firm, The Law and some of his solo stuff. I saw Bad Co in the late 80'2 early 90's when they had a brief comeback(be it with a different singer0 so i would like to see Him as well. They probably won't come anywhere near here anyway, but if they do i will have to think about it
