MJJSource v NPGMUSICCLUB Hmmn interesting, MJ has just announced and debutted his online fan membership website, which i must say looks extremely good!
As a member u get all the usual benefits that u get with the NPGMUSICCLUB i.e. access to premium part of the site, exclusive retail shop, preferred concert seats and tix, access to the full catalogue of MJ's career (hopefully including unreleased stuff). You also get a free poster and the promise of online chats with MJ himself and his brother Randy so far. It will be interesting to see whether MJ will b more hands on with his project like say, David Bowie, as he promises, or will he take a back seat and never raise his hands in the chat rooms like Prince???? One thing i will say is that the quality of the music files on MJJSOURCE is 192kbs - 300kbs and the video introduction that MJ did was high quality also. | |

Does this mean he's actually gonna DO some concerts?! There's been yap about a Jacksons and/or MJ tour for a long time, so I'm not holding my breath. Are they aspiring to copy the success of the Musicology 2004ever tour?? I seem to recall lots of promises for the earlier version of the site, but there was never much in the way of content (other than info about his legal problems). Well, this new version certainly LOOKS better, we'll see how it goes and if any of that stuff actually materializes. Anymore, I'm pretty fed up with Jacko...if he did something stunning like put together an album of all-new songs and release them via this new site, THAT would be interesting. There two TOTALY different sites. I thught there wont supposed to be too many mj V Prince threads at the momment?
In the future i rekon mjjsource, along with a lot of sites by other artists will definitly be more like NPGMusicclub, especially with the downloading of music and stuff. Thats a thing i give Prince credit 4, hes usually always ahead of his time  [Edited 12/22/04 8:21am] | |
