They might not be the most talented but I daresay DC3 are the most fun and most exciting thing in R&B today.

In a nutshell look at the end of "Soldier", their latest video. The girls are standing there, their "I'm beautiful, dammit" faces on, in over-the-butt short shorts, 6 inch hills and, to top it all off, doberman pinchers! No one else would even dare to pull off such audacious, over the top sentiment. That slight border between fun and tacky, glamorous and we-shoulda-known-better. You better "carry big things" if you wanna tussle with these girls. Independent indeed!

And don't even try to bring up worldwide sales because that won't make much of a differece. In some places you can go planinum by selling 7,000 so it's not gonna be some big difference. And even if they did outsell TLC (Which they didn't) everything is not about sales. TLC actually made good ALBUMS, not just a few good songs. Crazy,Sexy,Cool is a classic album. Years from now "Waterfalls" will be legendary. Can't really say that about "Say My Name" and you most CERTAINLY can't say that about "Bootylicious". TLC was a group where each member brought something. Each girl was on the same level. Beyonce is WAY more talented than the other two. She's the only reason they're above groups like 702 and Total. Michelle and Kelly are just average groups who would fit right in with 702.


And about the reality show. T & C released a statement saying that it wasn't about replacing Lisa, they're just giving a fan a chance to do a song with them. I'll watch the show and see what it is. If they're replacing her I'll be upset with them. I can't see it happening though.
