Someone should comment. I know the funk cat historians will be impressed for something like this with no rap...and George harmonies and lead not just a background part?
This is funky... Post up

Plenty of Georgisms goin' on. Always a trip to hear him.
And yes, I appreciate the lack of rap. Not counting Clinton's of course. The only problem is that it's the end of a long work day for me. The tune is funky but it's so down I felt like I was on heroin by the time it ended. Probably should listen in the A.M. Had to spin Fast Life to come out of the nod. Cool tunes. No foolin' bubba tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

That track is superb.
Its the best I've heard George in a few years. It could even be an R&B hit, if released. Thanks for this. Mr7

I dunno why people think George Needs Westcoast
Rappers. I think the A&R is smoking. Look at Andre 3000 he stopped rappin for a lil bit and made Hey Ya his biggest hit I think people underestimate the Vibe of George C and this song if I had a radio show in Prime time I'd be like "New George C/Wayne County check out the vibe on this one" I love the phased guitars/bass on this and that vocal phrasing. That is just too cool. George works with the right people and magic happens.... And yet cats on the radio like Sleepy Brown and Andre try to give George clinton some play and the A&R's don't get it. Everyone thinks George is cool.

Co-sign.....
George should've stop rapping a long time ago..... Don't get me wrong.... He did some good stuff that featured rap, (Nubian Nut, Funky Kind, Anybody Gets Funk Up)but he tends to over do it..... This is a good track tho'.....
