They rock. Thanks for mentioning them. Diffently one of the best (certaintly one of my favorite) albums of the 21st century. I know what you mean about them doing serious music. They can really play and really rock. Best rock album from the last few years. | |

I like them best when they keep it acoustic ! I think it works better than the full blown band thing...going electric makes them sound too much like the bands they're lampooning/paying tribute to...

Not only can they play (an accomplishment in itself), the have a good understanding of the genre they're spoofing. They know exactly which rock cliches and characters to pick (that their audience will recognize), to goof on. That's what makes them funny (another accomplishment).
