Besides me having to be taught.. "Jingle Bell Rock" in 1st grade (that was forced)..

The first song I have ever learned on my own was strangely.....

I was on the bus in the 4th grade (1991)..and all of a sudden I started singing it silently while all the kids were screaming and talking...

first song..most likely a church song...last song...the hallway speech to computer blue.

Now, that's a very hard question. Like Betty Wright said "I'm gonna give yall a little while longer because I know some of you gotta think back further than others".

I remember the first lyrics I memorised, vividly...

It was 'Kings Of The Wild Frontier' by Adam & The Ants.

I really can't remember the last lyrics which I bothered to learn. I tend to "dooby-dooby-doo" over the bits I don't know, these days.

"do the bartman".....me and my mates (I wa about 6 years old) on the schoolbus used to sing it all the time.....

Cool. Me and my mates used to bring our boombox out to the stoop and start dancing away to the remix on the cassette (and dance to my older bro's guy cassette amonst others) . The brave and dumb things u do as a kid. I had my hammer pants on too I imagine. Our nieghbourhood was cool though. Now I live in England, they don't even have stoops. Though that sorta thing would never happen over here anyway.
