Yeah, I agree, the word "blessed" has become a lil played. a lady i work with answers the phone "Jesus Loves You" before she says anything else or even knows who's calling. which is fine, but i happen to know for a fact that Jesus DOESN'T love me. so it always makes me sad. but she's the confrontational-Christian type, so i'm sure she does it just to rub it in.  Just sayin' that "blessed" is a little played out. Overused. Kinda like people still saying "hatin' on", etc. I don't have a problem with people being positive, I'm just sayin' another word or phrase for wishing someone well would come in handy. | |
