Does anybody know who does the version of "Joy To The World" that was on Scrubs last night?

It sounded like it was from the early-mid '60s, kind of early Beatles/merseybeat. I usually hate Christmas music, but I thought it was pretty cool. Anybody who can help it would be apreciated.

I didn't watch the tv show, but the only version of "Joy To The World" I know of is by Three Dog Night from a 1970 album. Originally by Hoyt Axton.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's not the same song. I am talking about the traditional Christams song "Joy To The World", not the song by Three Dog Night.
