Old Artists/Groups That Made New Music in 1990s to Present

Name some artists/groups, besides Prince of course, that made attempts at new music in the 1990s to the present.

These are some good ones that come to mind:

Cameo - Emotional Violence
Cameo - In The Face of Funk
The Barkays - "Put A Little Nasty On It" (single...no album was released)
The Barkays - 48 Hours
War - Peace Sign
Roger - Bridging The Gap
Diana Ross - "Take Me Higher" (Don't know the name of the album)
Jesse Johnson - Bare My Naked Soul
Rick James - Urban Rapsody
Teena Marie - ? (Her present album)
George Clinton - "Erotic City" (single)
Morris Day - It's About Time (The live tracks are good but the new tracks are horrible)

These are some horrible ones that come to mind:

The Gap Band - ? (I would have to pull it but I think it's called "Ain't Nothing But A Party)
Morris Day - Guaranteed
The Barkays - ? (Their present album)

United We Funk Allstars - This album was released in 1999 and included new tracks from various artists such as:

The SOS Band
Con-Funk-Shun
The Dazz Band
The Gap Band
The Barkays
The System
Rick James
The United We Funk Allstars featuring Roger Troutman

This album is absolutely horrible and was a HUGE disappointment. There is nothing "funky" about it. Every single one of the artists made tracks that sound like present day music.

I saw them perform it on the TV show "Motown Live" and I was not impressed.
