Trans Siberian Orchestra-Lost Christmas Eve For the TSO/Savatage fans out there-in case you didn't already know the latest/newest CD is out there.
Definitely worth checking out-I'm loving it. I saw them live last year and if you get the chance-you should. They put on an amazing show. To me it's a lot better than a large variety of the Christmas music out there. Heavier holiday music is never a bad thing in my book. Holidays or not-it's a great album and rocks-which is the important part. [Edited 12/2/04 23:25pm]

i've only heard one song by them.... it was about 5 years ago when they first came out or got big. i think it was Carol Of The Bells.

i like it. evil Christmas music You should check out the albums! Christmas Eve and Other Stories-most likely where you heard it, this was their breakthrough. The Christmas Attic-second and another great one, Christmas Canon is the most popular from this. and the latest, Lost Christmas Eve of course. [Edited 12/6/04 23:41pm]

Maybe it can be a Christmas gift from yourself? perhaps, but if i wait until Christmas day to find out i didn't get it, and go shopping on the 26th, i'll think to myself "self, why are you buying Christmas music after Christmas?" this sceneria has been playing itself out every year for about 5 years "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

Update:
Saw them live last night-what an amazing show!! Those guys really know how to put on a great show. Had the pleasure of meeting everybody and getting their autograph after the show (before the last few songs they said there'd be a table set out out front, and they'd love to meet a few people-luckily had a great place in line.) Shook many of their hands, exchanged a few words-especially Al Pitrelli, incredible guitarist and great guy. All really nice, very kind people. Applause was given to the troops and a moment of silence was recognized for the tragic passing of Dimebag Darrell, and for the other victims and everyone's families. To hear that many people silent (except for one crying baby) was very powerful. Incredible show-and I hope everyone that gets a chance checks them out! [Edited 12/11/04 15:23pm]

PS: do you get the feeling we're the only 2 people here who've ever heard of them? "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."
