Man, I wish some catz would just leave drugs alone. We've seen the loss of too many musicians with talent. Dag! True. ----- Stories about Bilal have been going around for a long time. A lot of stories about him being high on stage. I don't care for the guy's voice and his out of control ass ego.

But everything seems to sound like Prince around here. Actually none of his stuff reminds me of P. I think any Black man doing a falsetto is just gonna fall under an automatic comparison or something yanno...Bilal sounds like Bilal....

I loved Soul Sista. That was my jam.
He reminds me a bit of Prince. He's a very sexy guy and I really dig his voice. Studiotraffic-One of the fastest ways to get payed on the net!

I remember when his album came out, MTV did the dutiful thing and promoted him as the next Prince protege. The album, with a few exceptions, is a pretty good album. I like the Skit on the beginning of Side 2, for it's eerie-sexy feeling, and other favorites are Sally, Soemtimes, Love It, Soul Sista, When Will You Call, Queen Of Sanity, The Ride, and First Born Second. There are many influences that can be heard here, from gangsta rap to social R&B, to a definite comparison to Prince. Good stuff. I'd recommend it.

I don't see whats wrong with that. Self-pride ain't nothing to be ashamed of. And Bilal is named after the 1st muslim slave in which he got freed by the prophet Mohammed. And for the rest of ya'll: BUGGIN' AS HELL

Did anybody see the Friday night show?? It was advertised as being free.
I was going to go but had a cold--and it was all stormy outside. Just wondering who the 'special guests' might have been . . .

Man, I can't even begin to tell you the things that went wrong after that but hey, you get over things. I just think there should be something done by ticketmaster to those of us that received that memo. I mean man I was pondering over the drive out there but I just was like hey, the tickets are cheap and it's New York and it would be something to do. We had to take the subway back to the bronx and got lost also trying to find her cousins house cause my friend couldn't remember the exact street address. The freakin' rats in the subway look like cats! We actually ended up seeing horrible movie.

Damn JoJo!!! I know you were salty nuts!! That incident reminds me of the time I drove 2 hours to Chicago House of Blues to see Les Nubians and those fuckers wouldn't let me in because my driver license was expired by a month!!

I live in Harlem and the rats just swarm on my block. They zip in front of you when you're walking down the sidewalk at night . . .gotta say, it's fun to watch girls (and some guys) scream when they visit.

Just certain neighborhoods. But you will see them in most all of the subways, zipping around on the tracks. They also can be seen scurrying in the woods of Central Park. The way I see it, as long as they're not inside my house, I'm not that bothered by them. They're stealthy, resilient little varmints.
