To the title of this thread, its a shame. I listen to end of the road, and think how annoying it is that loser boy band's come along and get more popular than good ones. I look back in awe (cheesy) at LL Cool J's hey lover Video and think, dam... these were the days when Boyz II Men were one of the biggest things around.

One of the Backstreet Boys made that statement and it is true. If the Backstreet Boys were black they would have gotten more respect. However, their careers would have been shorter.


If they were black they'd sing, look and dance differently so it wouldn't be them. If they just mean the color of their skin well they'd get laughed off of stage if they were black. Blacks make fun of other blacks that dance and sound like they're white. Sometimes unfairly I might add.

Did you even think about this statement before you typed it (LOL) We are talking about white groups having a longer shelf life even when they have little or no talent.
