There are a few acts that pop into my head, though I'm not sure they're a comfortable fit on this thread...

3) Van Morrison - Astral Weeks - I don't think anything more needs to be said about that...

I totally agree with Van Morrison on the list. Hmm...women are missing, except one. lol I'm impartial to the likes of Pat Benatar "We Belong" and Deborah Harry.

Annie Lennox/The Eurythmics

The Who? I want to buy a GH compilation and saw one title "30 years of R&B" or something. Never thought of them as R&B but, "Eminence Front" is soulful. thumbs up!

What about this guy that's a on the radio now? I think his name is Gavin DeGraw. He has kind of a soulful voice. But then again, I'm not too big on mianstream Pop/Rock music now.

But a rebirth around here is as simple as a few keystrokes (and what was it...15 days on ice?) nod

Just think you could be TMF (ThrashMetalForever) in no time

As a guy who once idolized a sexually ambiguous, waifish black man with a perm who posed butt nekkid on a unicorn and flower, I can say that I don't doubt that for a minute.

I'll have to check "The Jim-a-bomber" out!!! thumbs up!

You beat me to the punch on these two...sort of.

I was gonna list a younger Johnny Winter

Johnny Winter/Second Winter
(Be Careful With A Fool, I'll Drown In My Tears, Memory Pain, I'm Not Sure)

As for Edgar Winter...

Edgar Winter's White Trash
(Give It Everything You Got, Dying To Live)

And early Duane Allman from the Allman Brothers for sure.

The Allman Brothers Band
(It's Not My Cross To Bear, Dreams, Whipping Post)
