BEST TRIBAL/HOUSE DJ's

OK, I've really been into tribal house music as of late.

My favorite DJs are James Lavelle and STeve Lawler.

Does anyone know of any good DJs?

JANFAN4L

I like...

Sander Kleinenberg
The Scumfrog
That Kid Chris
Armand Van Helden
Timo Maas
Deep Dish
Junkie XL
Chad Jack (look out for him, he's starting to make some noise in the NYC scene)
Boris & Beck
Narcotic Thrust
Murk

Super mainstream, but still cool at times...
Chris Cox (had some cool stuff with Thunderpuss)
Tony Moran
Jonathan Peters (sounds dated nowadays, but if you get into his mid-90s stuff it was vibrant)
Peter Rauhofer (okay at times, even though a lot of his stuff lacks variety)
Jason Nevins
Junior Vasquez (I know, I know, but I dig his Earth material, he can surprise you still)
Full Intention (cooler back in the mid-90s)

I have it on tape from years ago. It's part of a 3 cd set...one cd is Paul Oakenfold and the other is Nick Warren. It's out of print but you can find it on ebay regularly.

I won a bid for it last month, had it delivered to my home, but some asshole stole the cd and left the empty package in my mail box so I've still yet to own it on CD mad

Tracklist for Lavelle set:

3.01 UNKLE - Spinners
3.02 Autocreation - Caught Short
3.03 Repeat - Drifting Sounds Of Wakiki
3.04 Paris - The Hate That Hate Made
3.05 Most Wanted - Calm Down
3.06 Dr. Octagon - Blue Flowers
3.07 Photek - Into The 90's
3.08 Dr. Octagon - Bear Witness
3.09 Air - Modular Mix
3.10 The Groove Robbers Feat. DJ Shadow - Last Stop
3.11 DJ Krush - Meiso
3.12 UNKLE - Berry Meditation
3.13 Clubbed To Death - Clubbed To Death II
3.14 Tuff Crew - Soul Food
3.15 Innerzone Orchestra - Bug In The Bassbin
3.16 Winx - Hypnotizin
3.17 The Scientist - The Bee
3.18 Paperclip People - Oscillator
3.19 Peshay - Piano Tune

VERY cool mix nod

VERY cool mix nod

Yes yes! I have the very one..... and it's one of my fav. mixes of the type as well!!! nod

Love the "Street Fighter / Bruce Lee" intro, that's just so cool. I'm a fan of the way Lavelle meshes housey tunes in with hip hop.

Seen him at Nation, "Cream" in Liverpool a couple of times as well as in Fabric, London last December wildsign

Nice choice thumbs up!
