"New" Hendrix Release from Dagger Records The Hendrix Family (aka Expirience Hendrix) have made some instrumental jams available on a new release from their "official bootleg" series on Dagger Records. It is called "Hear My Music" and contains 11 trax, a couple of which were previously available on the long out-of-print "Nine To The Universe".
Personally ,I was hoping for another concert recording on their regular label this year (and rumours ofthe Albert Hall recordings were even mentioned here at the Org ) but I will enjoy this all the same.... "...all you need ...is justa touch...of mojo hand....." | |

If my memory serves me (when I had it on cassette), all the tunes on Nine To The Universe weren't that stellar. I was excited about the Larry Young stuff and the fact that he was playing with another guitar fav at the time, Jim McCarty (Mitch Ryder, Buddy Miles, Cactus). Won't be complainin' however. tA Tribal Disorder

http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm Ive been unable to track down a copy of "NTTU" but have heard a few trax from it on recent "unnofficial" releases .Ive enjoyed them for what they are , but dont rate them as highly as his finished studio work. On the other hand , Hendrix was the kind of artist who's jam's , rehearsals , and out-takes often contain some of his "magic" so this should be an interesting listen.... Don't get me wrong, there were some nuggets. While we're on the subject of Hendrix...
Buddy Miles - Greatest Christmas Hits (produced by Ross Vanelli in the early 90s) Frosty The Snowman, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer? This is the same guy that played Machine Gun. Stay down Jimi, Buddy gotta eat. tA Tribal Disorder
