Who sings this song II? I don't even know what the song's called or when it's from, but I'm guessing late 70's. I have next to nothing to go on. The chorus is something like "Your love is on fire" or "Our love is a fire", and then later he says something abour "burning". It's played on classic rock-type stations. There's a guitar riff in there that sounds like it is sampled in Murphy Lee's "What Da Hook Gon' Be". Anyone? Anyone? Sorry for being so vague. Thanks. "She made me glad to be a man"

Could it be Gary Wright's 1975 classic "Love Is Alive"? Well I think it's time to get ready To relax just what I have found I have lived only half of what I am It's all clear to me now My heart is on fire My soul's like a wheel that's turnin' My love is alive, my love is alive, yeah, yeah, yeah There's something inside That's making me crazy I'll try to keep it together 'Cause what I say may not happen the same way Now could be forever My heart is on fire My soul's like a wheel that's turnin' My love is alive, my love is alive, yeah, yeah, yeah There's a mirror moving inside my mind Reflecting the love that you shine on me Hold on now to that feeling Let it flow, let it grow, yeah, yeah (repeat chorus) ` [Edited 11/21/04 12:49pm] This post not for the wimp contingent. I dig "Love Is Alive" better. You have anything by Gary in your collection, David? I have a Greatest Hits CD by him, which of course contains those two songs. Is there anything else that I should get? Have you heard any of his albums?

I just wondered what his other music was like. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

As soon as Supernova hipped me to the song and artist for which I was searching, I downloaded it and have been listening to it ever since. I love it. His voice is great on this track. Much bluesier than on "Dream Weaver". He sounds a bit like Johnny Lang, a local bloke.
Thanks again, Supernova! "She made me glad to be a man"
