Still, no where near as naff as "earth song" on "history" tour! He sounds bad on "human nature", but then who cares? He sounds great on "she's out of my life" though! Remember "heal the wrold" done at the superbowl performance 1993? Qith the flashcards and HUGE and I mean HUGE choir? That was some super shit!(?).....I love that whole performance! oh man, the heal the world bit was just awful. 680 billion people simultaneously puking at the screen as those giant drawings of children appeared. rest of the performance kicked ass though.

AGREED It was vomitrotious, and it was lip synched like the plague Also, the poor children who had to stand and sing with him, ugh And he switched microphones..... wtf, why not just wear the headset and you won't have to change it mid way through the performance

It is just so grandiose and so rare to see something on that scale that as a kid, I thought Mike was the king (?).....brings back good memeories seeing that "heal the world" bit! Funny seeing some of the kids not smiling too.....one kid (as proberly most tried too ) tries to get close to Mike.....it's quite amusing!
If only i could of held up a plaque card.....I wonder how the audience felt about holding them up?

Are you kidding? This was when Mike was on top of the world. Those kids would have been over the moon to be in the presence of Michael Jackson.

now that they finally released a concert on dvd, what are the chances that they'll release a concert from the bad tour.

Apparantly that is mega rare.....I used to have proper footage of the "BAD" tour, it was a US tv special called "bad around the world" or something.....I wish I still had it but it was my older sisters and she rubbed it.....same with the making of captain EO, which is MEGA RARE now.....they still have not released that, though we have now got the super "we are hear to change the world" which has Michael still singing "thriller" style.....way too short though

FunkyBrotha said: All in all, i have to admit that Prince is certainly the better performer now, simply because he has concentrated all his effort in performance whereas mj's attention has been diverted by other serious matters! HOWEVER, anyone with any sense, and i must add that im sure even Prince will agree, that MJ at his best is THE BEST! Its easy enough to work it out, go find the BAD tour on the internet, go buy the dangerous live dvd, watch em , then watch Sign o the Times! Im sorry but anyone who thinks SOTT is better needs their heads adjusted! lol! MJ was a good performer, but only beats Prince at dancing. Maybe he has more stage presence too (never seen anyone faint at a Prince concert) but for me Prince's music is much better. MJ has some classic songs but imo only a few are as good as the anything Prince regularly performs. I saw MJ in '97 and was slightly disapppointed, he was well past his peak. Saw Prince in '01 and he blew me away. Which is funny coz they're the same age. Love the quote on my VHS copy of Sign O' the Times, "Prince makes Michael Jackson look nailed to the floor".

I'm definatley considering a bad tour dvd bootleg from ebay. But does anyone know how good the picture and sound quality is, and will it work on an american dvd player?
Also do you think they'll release the concert from the dangerous tour on its own? I really don't want to buy a box set full of songs I have three times for the dvd.

Actually, it's a thong bodysuit I watched this with my 8 year old this week and she asked "Daddy, why is he wearing a onesie with a g-string?" I thought it was hilarious until it donned on me... Why in the hell does she know what a g-string is?
