I'm listening to their "Dark Side Of The Moon" CD and something about this one song called "Any Colour Like You" reminds me of something by the Isley Brothers, maybe "Atlantis". I just wanted to know if they inspired the Isley brothers in any way, or was the Isley Brothers out before them?


Also, I want to say thanks to you guys and this site. I didn't even know who Pink Floyd was until being on here. You all are introducing me to a lot of older artists that I would have never listened to. I'm loving Pink Floyd and this album!

It's called "Any Colour You Like" and it's my favorite song on that album. It was written (or recorded rather) in 1972. I'm not sure about the Isley connection though. Someone on here will I'm sure.

Cool that you are getting into some older music. Hey, it ACTUALLY works! People ARE influenced by others on this site. I know I've gotten into lots of artists via advice from orgers. I still have to get those Zappa albums.
