I could do a top 1000 list as I love music everyone else hates!

In no particualr order:-

1) If u go away- New kids on the block
2) wanngirl- Jeremy Jordan
3) Wait for me- Stacye and Kimiko
4) Don't wanna fall in love- Jane Child
5) The best man-Glenn Mendeiros
6) Shes got that vibe- R kelly
7) Misunderstanding (radio/12" remix)- Al b sure
8) Whatever it takes- Basic black

Bomus track "nikki"- Glenn Medeiros!

You weren't kidding about loving music everyone else hates!

U actually know some of these tracks? I guess u just saw the artists names and figured.....I think Chukki Bookers "turned away" is very underated and soulful! Al b sure's "misunderstanding remix is classic newjack.....anyone remember the video?

I didn't think anybody remembered Chukki Booker (save for some diehard Janet or Tina fans). Turned Away is a beautiful song. May have his album on cassette somewhere still.

I have only heard four of the tracks you chose, but do know almost all the artists. Your list is very late 80's/early 90s teen-pop.

I thought long and hard about this and finally came up with a list that I think is pure pop bliss.

1. 1999 - Prince
2. Just Like Heaven - The Cure
3. Fury Eyes (remix) - The Creatures
4. The Hues Of Longing - Mors Syphilitica
5. She Likes Big Words - Deadsy
6. Under Your Spell - Amber Benson
7. You’re The One That I Want - John Travolta And Olivia Newton-John
8. We Don’t Give A Damn About Our Friends - Girls On Top
9. Help Me - Joni Mitchell
10. Wicked Little Town - Hedwig And The Angry Inch

It might be a little wacky. boxed

Yeah I know, but that is what the thread wanted.....I do like other stuff but at the mo' Iam revisting some childhood stuff.....if anyone knows the stayce and Kimiko track I would be shocked!

Most of these r teen pop, but chukki is Newjack/industrial funk(?) and Basic black were hardcore obscure Newjack and Al b sure and R kelly's track was Newjack too!

"whenever u close ur eyes" by tommy Page is a diane Warren/ Michael Bolton written track with Bolton on backing vox! Tommy had a no.1 in USA with "i'll be your everything".....another mega cheesy ballad!

everyone should hear the sheer production and vocal power of "dont wanna fall in love" by Jane Child! God that track can blow most rock away I tell u!

i still have the video somewhere.....damn the vid brings back memories.....this is one of the few songs that u can listen to emotionally or dance ur ass off too.....plus a guitar solo that comes after a dance breakdown.....pretty unusual and fantastic too! biggrin

"res q me" is classic chukki off same album.....with the Prince like slowed down voice and all.....
