Actually, that's not a bad list. I'm partial to a few others, such as...

Is there life on Mars?
Queen bitch
The Bewlay brothers
Ziggy Stardust
Lady grinning soul
Panic in Detroit
Fame
Golden years
Wild is the wind
Sound and vision
It's no game
Hello spaceboy
Strangers when we meet
Cactus
Bring me the disco king

hmmm If you can fit that many on a disc, then its a sin to not do a double! Bowie has too much great stuff to not give it a double disc treatment.

well, that's certainly a feat, but a very odd selection of tracks. 2 tracks post 1973, and 6 from Pin-Ups... hmmm i'd say this is exactly 90% diametrically opposed to how i'd do a 1-disc bowie set. but i couldn't do a 1-disc best of bowie, so more power to ya wink

I thought the "challenge" was to make a 1 CD comprehensive list. Anyone can pile on more and more.

oh. there was a "challenge"? frankly, that's not a challenge worth taking. but at any rate, i suppose the best of bowie 1-cd version that was released is already the best possible compilation of that sort. not to mention Changesbowie. so what's the point...
