Kate Bush news? Album due mid-march - We'll see.
Elemental films have been commissioned to do a visual set peice for Kate's video (presumably the first single from the album). Apparently of three samples already heard, it seems to be a throwback to the early days - very experimental, dark... etc. One track is a 15 minute opus with more compartments than a train! Re: The video - The setpiece is based upon a futuristic scene set after some kind of world war. From the lyrics of the song heard so far, it appears to be called, "Somebody Who Knows". Maybe? Probably not. Dunno, but at least it gives fans something to talk about in the meantime.

Who is this Kate Bush you keep talking about?
Gooey dusts off some old vinyl... Hey, I remember, when I was still young...this woman. I remember she crawled over the floor. She wailed some. I see old women in scarfs from Bulgary. What's wrong with her hair? Why can't I remember???

Same age as your girl. Kate's my girl. I've been keepin' her busy () so she hasn't had time to make any music.

This album had better be a quadruple CD set, considering we've already waited 11 years for it.

I heard Kate's new album is called Chinese Democracy. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

i wonder what Kate has been doing to occupy her time during the past 10 years since TRS. If I had her $$ I would be doing lots of travel... but I guess she doesn't really miss the record industry. It's really a shame.
Here's hoping that she's recorded tons of material, and we'll get a boxed set of unreleased stuff one of these days.

I told my wife about a person on "that Prince site" I go to called "Cloudbuster".
I reminded her about the the gap in Kate Bush releases compared to Prince. She said that "Cloudbuster" must be the most tolerent person on earth, or blind from all the wanking while waiting for the next album! She then put the "Hounds Of Love" single in her top 3 songs of all time! .
