Interesting comment from MJ.

Michael also added that he has been working on new music: “I’ve been working on several albums right now, I’ve been working on music today…I’m in the process of making plans to do some wonderful things that I will be announcing to the fans very, very soon.”

Several albums? hmm

but this brings up a good point...

Is he recording all these albums so they can be released if he goes to jail? You know,so he can continue making money while he is behind bars?

Source?

I'm sure that he has a different view on his freedom, so it could be like when 2pac recorded a bunch of shit when he got back from jail.

MJ's concept of time has always been a bit off. Words like working, several, process very very soon I have to take with a grain of salt. End of 2005 at earliest.

I agree,he is an extremely lazy artist, isn't he? A few years ago,I read an interview where he was complaining that he hates to tour.Wtf? That's part of your job description,Mike!! And he only releases about two albums a decade. It seems as if he doesn't take his art seriously anymore.

He could get away with it between "thriller" and "bad" as I understand he was under tons of pressure, but after that the gaps r just unacceptable! What really pisses me off is all the supposed 100's of outtakes that he could put onto an album per year just don't get released! He must know that ALL his die hards would buy an outtake album of his straight away! And why no Live vhs or dvd (untill the boxset)..... one of the best performing artists ever could not be arsed to release a live video/dvd and the "dangerous" concert we r geting was on HBO (and every other country) over 10 years ago!

Those r Mikes biggest faults.....I couldn't care less about anything else of his really!

In fact, I can remember reading something saying that during the "QJ" time,
MJ was asked to only release an album every 6 years so the other artists could have their piece of the cake as he was making too much money in little time. eek

B.S.if he is recording
he's too self loathing to release it and throws it in the vault...
Wait thats some one else...

Anyways we've all heard this same song and dance before
"Im working on big things" 6 years later. crappy album comes out later
bringing all the big producers of that time
etc...
i just wish he'd do an album by himself for once, lazy bastard
and try not to fill it with mind numbing children anthems

he's past his prime and should do a little bit more mature music
that suits his age range
he'll probably get more respect
at least from me he will
im seriousl very close to turning on his azz

When Mr. KElly WAS ON THE HOOK
he still released lots of material
Chocolate Factory,R in RNB, Happy People
and a whole mess of dvd's

Sony is just releasing this ultimate package cause they want the contract to be over in case he gets convicted

If he’s got so much stuff I don’t understand why he can’t just put recent material leftover from Invincible perhaps and throw it on a disc and then to the fans. He’s getting new material, making some sales and closer to fulfilling his contract with Sony.

I was sorting through my CDs and I totally forgot I had The Ones disc. While the box set is great, I still feel like haven’t I bought 95% of this stuff at least twice before on other discs? Why doesn’t he release the concert DVD separate? Fans have been waiting for concert DVD forever. These are the questions I’d like to ask him. Not the same questions he always get asked in interviews.

Anyway, there's no chance for MJ to end up playing some serious rock, funk & Jazz like our man. We all known that he's not half the musician that P is. Laziness is probably the kind of thing happening when you are use to relie on people from the beginning. Let's not be too hard on him.
