remember this group? they had 3 hit singles, "why you treat me so bad" "lean on me" and "jealousy". what happened to them? ah...the good old days! by the way, why you treat me so bad has been sampled a million times.

You mean the Old Timex Social Club who did Rumors? They were OK...I thought that was really the only good single they had.. and of course the humor take off Roaches...both are classics.

In the early 90s,I was in a nightclub and I ran into the lead vocalist Valerie Watson.I was raving about Club Nouveau,and how much I enjoy her voice.She mentioned that she would have a solo album out in 1993,but I'm not sure if it ever came out.She's such a sweet person.


Last I heard,Club Nouveau is still together,and they recently signed a new record deal with Thump Records.
