Oh boy! So I supposed this is the "time" that people start to bash the successful singer/songwriter. Forget the fact that they sold millions of albums! Forget the fact that everyone was on their tip for years. I guess now since people have got their fill of their music it is time to insult them. That IMO is "tacky"! It is gutless! How can people even think of such threads? To actually think that an artist "has" to please your every wish or else you will verbally demean them is what is outrageous. Find something better to do with your time. Once people understand that these musical artist have put in countless years to reach a certain level of success the more they will realize the hard work it entails. I am sick of folk praising an artist and then hating them. This is evident with Britney, Christina, Janet, Michael, Madonna, etc. Most of them are trying to make good music. If you find that you can't mention something good then it is best to just keep silent. We already have enough negativity in this world.
