Well, they only recorded two albums and they're both good, but if you were only gonna buy one,I would recommend their self-titled debut.Released in 1983,it contains four strong singles: "Candy Man","All Night Love","Jealousy" and "Boys".

'Only Four You' is okay. It includes the top 10 pop hit "In My House". The second single "Wild & Crazy Love" was a top 10 R&B hit I think. The third single was "Break It Up" which didn't do so well. There's only one ballad on it, "Shadow Lover" whereas the first album was divided into a fast side and a slow side. Overall the second album is average Rick James tracks with "In My House" being the one standout.

And if you're really masochistic there's always the last track on the album called "Leather Queen" featuring Maxi on lead vocals.shake

The second album 'Only Four You' has it's moments, namely "In My House" and the smooth slowjam "Shadow Lover",whcih really should have been a single. But overall,it's not as strong as the debut album.
