Well, you said "which genre of music" though, so rap doesn't count, as there is nothing musical involved in that shit.

I've learned to live with disappointments with Prince since 1985 so the mid to late 1990s was nothing new to me. He's still released enough decent stuff on each album to keep me hanging on....with the exception of "The Truth"...but at least it was only one of a four disc set.
