Smooth jazz, lame pop (any genre) , gangsta rap, death metal, dance remixes, & whiney country.
Pretty much anything you could currently hear on most radio stations. confused

Manufactured boy/ girl pop bands, gangsta rap, death metal, formula hard rock, soft rock (eg Meatloaf and the dreaded Bryan Adams), grunge, 'indie' rock (more or less), hardcore dance techno, 'soft country/ folk', eg Daniel O'Donnell, Brendan Shine, Foster & Allen, post '60s Miles Davis-inspired hard bop jazz (I mean why? Miles and co. perfected it years ago. It's played out. Either innovate or let it die. Harsh, I know, but true.). Oh, and most Broadway-style musical songs.

Sounds like I hate the world, doesn't it? wink

My list of musical likes would be much longer, tho.

Hey... when I'm around a bunch of Germans and we're all drunk out of our minds with huge liter mugs of Pilz and we've just finished watching a futbal game, I'm ALLLL FORRRR das schlagermuzik sing-alongs! nod

But there is a general prerequisite of several liters of beer for that!

lol I love watching the schlager festivals on the German channels. Such cheese. All the men look like David Hasselhoff with their feathery, long hair and leather pants. (well, it's either that or lederhosen)

Now would that be GOA or Psychedelic Trance?

whofarted How should I know? I don't even care. Whatever they play in the clubs in Holland. That's what I hate. ill

Also, they always have all these ads on TV (in Holland) for upcoming festivals and/or CD mixes that you can buy, and it's all featuring that heavy pounding and spacey keys, accompanied by those short buzzing noises that sound like a giant killer mosquito has drilled a hole into your brain and is making you want to kick the walls in.

So, whatever THAT is. I can't even call it music.

I would rather be hit in the head with a brick than to listen to rap.

Well, you said "which genre of music" though, so rap doesn't count, as there is nothing musical involved in that shit.

I've learned to live with disappointments with Prince since 1985 so the mid to late 1990s was nothing new to me. He's still released enough decent stuff on each album to keep me hanging on....with the exception of "The Truth"...but at least it was only one of a four disc set. biggrin

Now would that be GOA or Psychedelic Trance? See I take issue with this, because trance is not understood in a lot of places...and in a lot of places they play crappy trance...like that Paul Van Dyke crap UGH times 2...or that IBIZA shite. A lot of good trance has been mired by the mainstream gay crap that everyone plays.

Then again there's always Happy Hardcore drooling

No Happy Hardcore allowed no no no!
