04-11-2004 i went to Rammstein at the Ahoy Rotterdam.

I am not really a metal man, but Rammstein I really like somehow. Maybe it is coz I like Depeche Mode so much (coz there is a link musically).

I was really amazed by their show, i've heard and saw a lot of things about these shows, but in real it is truly AWESOME!

Alot of fire, great stage, and also (very important) musically ok!!!

So all I want to say, when you have the cange and want to see a good show!! Go and see Rammstein!!!

they are a German band...and surprisingly good. my sister saw them here in S.J. New Brunswick...we were amazed hey came here because they are pretty big and well our community is pretty small. i am not a fan of heavy music either but if you like Rammstein and can almost guarantee you will like KMFDM.

I guess we don´t like them because we actually hear how cheesy their lyrics are.
They just try to shock people for commercial reasons. In contrast to Marilyn Manson they don´t have anything interesting or intelligent to say in their interviews. Apart from that all the "live" performances of them I saw on TV were definately lip-synched.

Ah well that's true, but there's something about them that I just really like in contrast to other commercial rock bands (Limp Bizkit, Korn and all that other crap...) and the German language just works really well in their music and I had some real cool studio time with those guys years ago...


Hell even Prince lip-synchs on TV...

I think there are other bands who put Germany on the world map musically. Einstürzende Neubauten, Neu!, Kraftwerk, Eloy, Can and even Nina Hagen to name a few. All these artists are unique in a certain way. I don´t think Rammstein are.

I also don´t think they are far right. But they flirt with right tendencies. If I remember it correctly they even tried to get an old lady called Leni Riefenstahl to do one of their videos.She was a film-maker and a friend of Adolf Hitler and did some propaganda-Film under his regime (Triumpf des Willens, Olympia)

I even heard that a few Members of Rammstein were gay thats why I find it hard to believe that they are far right.
