If anyone doubted MJ's talent listen to this

This song is from the album Moving Violation with Jackson 5. Michael is about 16 years old on this one. Listen to his wailing chops at the end...almost as agile as Stevie Wonder

Enjoy! (just rightclick and open the file)

To me it is a shame he isn't using his voice this way anymore...I'm not talking about singing in the high register as when he was a kid, but using his voice in this smooth, agile, pure and soulful way. I don't like when he overuses his angry style of singing or when he overuses vibrato as he does nowdays when singing I'll be there. It's almost as he tries to hard...instead of singing with his heart and soul in the natural way he used to...

The angry voice was alright in the end of Man in the mirror and Scream but after that...

nice one by the way. I LOVE his performance of Ain't No Sunshine.

Probably one of his greatest vocal performances

To me his best vocals were on Smile, so pure..
But since Thriller, especially on Baby Be Mine he never used that kinda childish, smooth, soft voice anymore like on this song. That's a schame, I wonder if he still can sing like that. What do u think?

Yeah, I know what u mean! He used that pent up angry voice since then mostly...whcih is great by the way.....I guess, particually with the "bad" album! He wanted to move away VOCALLY from "thriller" and try and be macho in every sense.....well thats what I reckon!

Weather Michael sings in a smooth or angry way I miss his agile wailing soulful chops which you can hear him use on this song. I wonder why he rarely/never mix it up and display his scills anymore...I mean listen to All I do is think of you, he uses his voice almost as if he was Stevie Wonder...it all comes so naturaly it seems...

I doubt he still could do this, take Butterflies for instance - his vocals are great on that song, but could he still sing like that live? Who knows

He sure had alot of soul at a young age, but I'm curious about what you mean by kid. Cause I sure think he had alot of soul as an young adult (15-20 something)

That man still has a soul - a beautiful soul. "We´ve had enough" proves that.

I love Smile!! I think he´s a great singer. He always sings differently always expressing the feeling of the song which is something very few people can do.

goering was the #2 henchman for adolf hitler. he was explaining how they were able to get the germans to vote for adolf and put him in office despite his horrible and very open intentions toward the Jewish people. it's just an example of how people (sheep) can be swayed by bullshit.

The Truth is slowly coming out. Like WE have said Jacko doesn't sing! He doesn't sing live !! I dare anyone to name a TV Appearance where Jacko sings live in the last 20 years. He hasn't.

Here is the News Media FINALLY bringing up what most of us have known for 20 years.

----

In the wake of the Ashlee Simpson debacle on SNL, CNN has published an interesting article on performers lip synching:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/S...index.html

MJ is mentioned in a list of other performers known to have lip synched performances:

"Michael Jackson mouthed part of his superstar-making moment on the "Motown 25" TV show in 1983."

---

How is Motown 25 amazing?? He Lip Syncs it & steals a dance move and shows it to the white world. BIG DEAL!

lol

He san live The way you make me feel with Britney at the 30 anniversary show. His performance of Gone too soon on Clinton´s inauguration (or what´s the word) was live (pretty impressive performance btw) Yeah, but it´s true that he mostly doesn´t sing live these days, but his dangerous, victory and bad tours were all live.
