$60 million in punitive damage. These celebrities live in a completely different world, I guess. "Knowledge is preferable to ignorance. Better by far to embrace the hard truth than a reassuring faith. If we crave some cosmic purpose, then let us find ourselves a worthy goal" - Carl Sagan

I know Kelly's not at the top of anyone's favorite list right now, but Jay-Z deserves to be sued. If you're going to drop out of a tour because you don't like the person you're touring with, then you're not being professional. I'm sick of baby ass artists these days bitching about every little thing. You signed the contract: FINISH THE TOUR, JOE CAMEL! Jay-Z didn't "kick R. Kelly off the tour", he quit. Sponsors don't put up millions just so some arrogant jackass can whine and quit. Its simple: jay should pay. I thought he quit the biz? What's he doing back, anyway? You can't play with other peoples' money without consequences. R. is right on this one. You can hate him as a person, but business is business. I'm not even sure i believe Kelly, but this isn't about him. Its about $$$. Look at the Stones. They hated each other at different points, but they still toured together. For the $$$ if for nothing else. Jay is forgetting that he's not the only one with stake in the tour. He needs to man up or pay up.

in all honesty, though: did anyone else see this comin like i did? Yes,tht'a why I asked what Jay-Z was thinking working with R.The first damned collaboration didn't do well because of R's allegations.R is a busta if I have ever seen one froma distance. Jay-Z usually makes better decisions than this. It's not really funny, but R better watch his back for real now.He should just walk away slowly and move on to other things. He is barking up a tree that he won't get his voice back from. He is ruining his street cred(if he had any),looking weak and unprofessional, and risking bodily injury.Plus, when yoiu mess with teh Elvis of hip hop, you risk opening yourself up to people looking for people being more willing to cooperate with authorities. silly question here...if it was a twin billing concert, then how could Jay-Z just assume that everybody was coming to see him? I would think that there would be a number of R Kelly fans who were going to the show and would kind of tolerate sitting through Jay's set. you look better on your facebook page than you do in person
