3T did an signing at our store. They too cute.
Mariah Carey, like Michael, came shopping with an antire entourage. I had to direct her to the dance department. She's full of (sh)it. Her personality is as wax as her looks.
Now Bruce, Bruce played a demo to me over the telephone. He's a kewl dude and has humour. He respects Prince too! Now that is a kewl guy!

PS And I forgot to say that if you really want to get in a star's eye, you just tell 'm you haven't listened to their album yet and then ask; "Is it any good?" Good peeps fall in love with you.....

Ooh, and Lenny Kravitz, Vanessa Paradis and Harry Connick Jr. I forgot those. All on one night! And we (two friends of mine and I) went on a trip with Harry. He's awfully nice!

I've met precious few famous folk, but someone I did meet is Mani of Stone Roses/Primal Scream fame. I was piss drunk when I met him, as was he. He bought me a beer and we chatted for ten minutes about music and stuff. Asked him if he liked Prince and he said he likes anyone who does not conform.

debbie harry (walked her to her car after seeing her play on new year's eve)

prince (got a quick "thank you" from him one night at an afterparty, then got fed pizza by the man at the next night's concert)

Most of those I've met have been at meetNgreets, so I won't count those...

I had a BRIEF moment with Prince one night at Paisley.

I had a brief moment with Damon Albarn at 1st Ave.

I've had conversations with the boys from Travis.

But, by far my favorite moments were with The Charlatans. I've had numerous conversations with those boys before and after shows. The best of which was after their Wonderland show in MPLS when we stood outside the venue and chetted for near an hour...'twas one of my favorite nights in my life

for the dutchies:

I ran into Xander de Buisonje at a bar in Curacao. I was very drunk coming from a wedding, together with a buddy. We walked up to him and started a smart conversation with him, making a fool of him. I must say that he was a pretty good sport and played along well. Turned out he was staying at our hotel, next day we were drinking beers at the bar, he was paying!
