I just got a chance 2 listen 2 Peaches' (i know that Madonna and Björk r crazy 4 her!) last album...wow!

I really don't know if i love it or it.It made such an impact on me!!

What R ur opinions about this nice girl?

it's certainly a fun listen. but i'm with you... can't tell if i like it or if i don't. i guess i do. i don't really think she's that original or even talented, but she's a great shock-novelty act.

I think she's unique and a freakin blast live. I love dancin to her songs at the club, etc.

still, I've not gotten around to buying her CDs.

i dig her. i loved her first album from the first listen.

actually, i was horrified when i heard it the first time, but i loved the trainwreck value - i played it for my roommate at the time and she ran out of the room screaming "IT'S JUNKIE ROCK!! IT'S DANCE MUSIC FOR JUNKIES!!!" - so i knew it had to be good!

it took me a while to warm up to her second album, but i really enjoy it now. my bf loathes her - we have an agreement that i won't play peaches around him if he won't play dixie chicks around me.




i tend to listen to my peaches albums when i'm all alone.

I don't know...I actually have a hard time knowing which beats were from the speakers and what was just hallucinated by my drunk ass at that point!

Maybe it was a collective hallucination and it wasn't really remixed or extended at all. Maybe the album version just seems like it's 15 minutes long.

i dunno...there's a CD single of the duet w/ iggy pop in stores...it might have that mix of "shake yer dix" as a b-side. also though, peaches is really popular with the bootleg/homemade dj remixes, so who knows where it came from - maybe from someone's basement in the burbs of chicago.
