Hey, I'm just keeping it within the theme of this thread here. Freeez was British Disco/Funk, was it not? Do me a favor and please don't start these silly games. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Yes Mr Ants, Freeez was quite useful back in the days but didn't express what real funk was expressing until early 80's. I use to dance almost every saturday night on it, I even got the 12'' but to my opinion the track was made for quick money an therefore didn't stay in no serious Funkfreak's mind.
Here's some serious british funk... The Funk, the whole Funk, nothin' but the Funk !

Who disagrees with what and why? It has nothing to do with disagreeing, and ultimately not important. Carry on. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Here's some serious british funk... So you mean to tell me that Freeez was fakin' the funk? But I like "Southern Freeez". I guess you'll say the same about Spandau Ballet too, when they decided to get funky. Speaking of which, have y'all heard of Beggar & Company? Now that was some serious British Disco/Funk. Another classic, this time, from those legends of Alternative Rock:
It was long before they sold out and abandoned the Funk (which was a big mistake). After the disappointing turnout of the debut album, they decided to hook up with a legend who could produce their crazy noise. And who better to go to than the master, George Clinton. With him on board, they created a crazy sex/funk/punk underground classic. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
