His guitar playing is just amazing! He started out on banjo at 12 if you didn't know and I just think it's incredible how he plays. That finger style he's able to play those solos-he's just beyond words to me. I'm absolutely awed watching him play-not many people do that to me-but I think in music like Fleetwood Mac he really can shine and stick-out. He's underrated on so many levels as a producer (Listen to Rumours for proof), songwriter, guitarist. He plays for the song so well. Stevie's always at her best when around him-whatever emotions they feed off about that makes them pull great things off. I think a lot of that is at peace now-but you still see that fuel-and when that use that, magic still happens. Agreed. Word for word. And I absolutely adore Red Rover from Say You Will. His playing on that is off the map. Fantastic stuff. Dig that crazy solo he does as a coda on "Gypsy"... "...all you need ...is justa touch...of mojo hand....."

I'm a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac,but I can't get into Stevie Nicks' solo material. With the exception of "Stand Back" (a killer pop/dance track that features Prince, uncredited,on keyboards),none of her solo singles impress me.I like her,but I just think that she works better as part of a band,as opposed to being a solo artist.
