"Family Guy" desecrates Janet Jackson!

Was watching an episode of "Family Guy" where they show Peter skeet shooting in the front yard. Brian (the dog) is throwing cd's in the air for Peter to shoot. Brian asks Peter, "Madonna or Janet?" Peter says, "Which Janet?" Brian: "Velvet Rope." Peter: "Ok Janet." Brian tosses. Peter shoots. He scores.

Hahaha! But what's the title? I'll have to look it up on the backs of the cases. So Chris is hung eh?

Sorry don't know the title. But yeah, apparently Chris is huge. Peter was pulling a Mommie Dearest momment (I'll always beat you because I'm bigger and faster). Then he sees Chris in the steam room and gets jealous.

I didn't know what to make of that since everyone that owns the album agrees it's excellent. While I disagree with that one, it's usually funny as hell. I own both sets too and am happy that I do. Great stuff!

hmmm I might have known a Fox TV Show would pull a number like that. I guess the media is still suffering from the Fear Of A Black Titty. One thing is for sure, the FCC still has gotten over Tittygate neither.

It's not that. The show orginally aired around 2000, maybe 2001 by the 3rd season (it was probably off the air by 9/11). The shows have been on DVD for about a year as well and on Cartoon Network and have been so hugely popular that that the show will be coming back with new episodes on Fox. I wouldn't, however, be shocked if Fox pulled something like that, though.

FOX wouldn't pull something like that because their most "creative" shows, including King of the Hill, Family Guy, Futurama and the Simpsons, were all excellent because they were granted complete creative control. This is why they often make fun of FOX, because there's nothing FOX can do about it.

One time the Simpsons had a thing where FOX News was on, and had this incredibly biased anchor saying stupid things, and on the news ticker all sorts of nonsense like "JFK Posthumously Becomes Republican" and "Being Liberal Causes Cancer". Fox NEWS got mad about this, and threatened to sue the Simpsons for slander, until they found out the show was owned by the same parent company. falloff

I never understood why so many people lavish such praise on Velvet Rope. Yes, there are some great tracks, but I think, like all of her post Rhythm Nation albums, it has WAY TOO MUCH FILLER. I really wish that Janet would realise that a nice compact 45 minute album would in all likelihood be much better than a bloated 70+ minute album.
