It was a crappy Album, but it wasn't MJ's fault... oh sure it was his fault. he started working on it with Rodney Jerkins at a time when that sound was hot. he put it out the lead single that was the epitome of that sound 2 years after "The Boy Is Mine" and "If I Told You That" and "If You Had My Love" had already sucked that well dry. and you know, MJ is the one that recorded the songs. he's the one that put them on the album. if the album sucks, it's because of the material it's made up of. and all of that comes from MJ's end. Isn't it funny how Jacko didn't mind giving his song "Bad" to Weird Al to make a Music Video making fun of Fat People.
He didn't mind using his music to make fun of people & now the Karma Hits him in that fake rubber nose. The Video isn't even bad. HE is the one that says he was a non-sexual sleep over with boys!! THATS exactly what the video shows! Thats his Lifestyle! Thats what he wants to fight for! Thats what he threw his whole career away for! I guess after you see it on TV, it looks worse. BUT that is exactly what he is explaining in every interview. What makes no sense on Jacko & BET side is the video even makes fun of HIMSELF in 8 Mile!! Not to mention: Bad Santa,Hammer & Madonna. BET just jumped the shark! They didn't mind showing a Dr. Dre video making fun of Easy-E, plus all the videos insulting women. This is fucking hilarious. MJ's response to the video completely justifies that he is a valid target for satire. Eminem's song is pretty shit (unusual for a leading single for him) compared to what he's capable of but the video is pretty funny. The only thing else I'll say is that making fun of MJ is just way way too easy. The guy has become a fucking circus clown. PS and I'd call myself an MJ fan, I have all of his albums. This video should have been pulled, I totally agree w/ BET's response to this. You can look at it any way you want but when it all boils down to is a white man making fun of a black man and yes Michael is black (don't be dumb)! Sorry, that's just the way it is. But why does Eminem even have to make fun in order to sell a video, he just lacks on his part. The thing about this is that Michael is going through serious molestation charges/court and possible time in jail. So for him to do a video like that when the man is still going through this mess is very tacky. You don't see Method Man, Jay-Z doing videos like that. and Redman had a funny video out at one time but he wasn't making fun of no celebrity. And MTV will never remove that video. BET is Black Entertainment and that video was not "entertaining" at all. | |
