It seems my post about Madonna has gotten a little bit out of hand.

I am not a die hard Madonna fan, and it seem after some reflection of my younger days Madonna WAS a strong presence at that time. I was just caught up in the Madonna of today, Kabbalah, Britney, children books...all of which are her perogative. It just seems she has to to something off the deep end to be recognized today...when it should be her music...like it use to be.

I will stand by my opinion she can't act (her and Prince are about equal)
Her singing voice is not that great (she was never known to have a good voice)

But I will serve her props on:
some good song writing
Producer
Like a prayer - album
Still being in the music game after all these years
Great entertainer

And to all of my fellow orgers, I am sorry if my opinion has upset you. We all have our "Madonna's" to defend.

You know I am in bit of the same place. I have really come to not like her as of the past few years. Too much BS.

But she still gets props in my book for all she HAS done.

You're entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. It's stupid things like "she's a whore" "she's ugly and old" and slanderous things like she mimes at her concerts that piss me off. To my knowledge you haven't said anything like that.

If you don't like Madonna's music and entertainment, you are more than free to express your opinion on that, as is everyone else.

People can feel the way they feel about her religion, personality and looks but its best to keep those opinions to yourself as they can be offensive towards others, especially if you insult her age (46) and there are people that age lurking these forums. Those kinds of discussions have no place on these boards. We are here to discuss music, and recently the Madonna topics have been getting out of hand, and all have negative things unrelated to her art.

So let's tone it down people shall we?

No need to apologize.You are entitled to your opinion.Franky,I'm amused at the strong reaction Madonna gets from people---fans and non-fans.She's one of those artists that people either love or hate and I think that's the way she wants it.When we discuss her,I love kicking some ass...lol...
