The R was on Dateline last night and it was the first time I actually heard him admit to the Aaliyah marriage. He skirted the rest of the questions like I suspected he would. What I don't get about his fans is how, with them knowing about him being 27 marrying someone 15, they still support this guy.

I think its insane how the public is okay with him sleeping with underage girls (and there's PROOF of it. He videotaped his encounters), yet they are willing to crucify MJ for unsubstantiated accusations. Is it because its somehow okay that R Kelly molested girls, since it wasn't homosexual in nature? If MJ is guilty, then he should be strung up. R Kelly IS guilty, and he shouldn't be treated any better.

When he married Aaliyah he was 27 and she was 15 (this was approx 10 years ago in 1994) that would make him 37 years old today. I don't condone grown folk sleeping with teenagers. I'm also not one to pull the wool over my eyes when it comes to young teenagers having sex during their high school years. I knew at least 5 girls that were pregnant while I was in school by guys that were in the 14-16 yr age range. R Kelly made a very bad decision and he has to take it up with God and seek help.
