"Coming soon to Channel 4 The UK Music Hall of Fame is coming soon to Channel 4, honouring the best musicians and artists from the past five decades. YOU will decide which international music legends will enter the prestigious UK Music Hall of Fame in five nomination programmes celebrating each decade from the 1950s to the 1990s. The climax of the series will be a star-studded live event recorded at London's Hackney Empire. The show will feature unique live performances from international legends and exclusive collaborations so it's not to be missed! The weekly two-hour nomination programmes will feature vintage footage and exclusive interviews withstars ranging from major artists to journalists, music industry executives and broadcasters. Those taking part in the shows include Brett Anderson, Ash, The Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Blur, Billy Bragg, James Brown, Guy Chambers, Jimmy Cliff, George Clinton, Steve Coogan, Brian Eno, Noel Gallagher, Robin Gibb, Dave Grohl, Jamelia, Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan, Kris Kristofferson, Lemmy, Johnny Marr, Ian McCulloch, Katie Melua, Gary Numan, Paul Oakenfold, Jimmy Page, Maxi Priest, Public Enemy, Nile Rogers, Rick Rubin, Snow Patrol, Yusuf Islam, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, The Thrills, Robbie Williams and Brian Wilson. The UKMHOF website will give you the chance to find out more about all the nominees, test your musical knowledge in our decades quiz and win tickets to the invitation-only, star-studded grand final. You'll be able to check out exclusive interviews and even feature on the site yourself. We're looking for photographs of viewers throughout the decades rubbing shoulders with their favourite celebs.
