When a kid I did not like 'em, but now I have ALL their stuff, including their very good remix album and their underated "face the music " album of 1994!

I don't mind "please don't go girl" (New edition fans should like that one as it is an identical remake of "is this the end"), but "I'll be loving u forever" is alot better, with good vocals by Jordan!

U must hear "if u go away", an adult contemporary song that has that twinkly ballad sound of the early 90's (and not the amatuerish production of their early stuff)....."please don't go girl" the remix version off "no more games" is better!

Great to c someone with the balls to say that, i know not many people like NKOTB or or that song.....

If you're serious, NKOTB is 'New Kids On The Block'. I disagree with "Please Don't Go Girl" sounds like NE's "Is This The End" confuse They both may have been produced by 'Maurice Starr', though! Anyways, they're both great songs! I do agree that "I'll Be Loving You" is better, though! biggrin

C'mon, it's all about the Jam-&-Lewis-esque snares on "Right Stuff".

all they needed was the "chili sauce!" and the slide to the side and they coulda been lost members of the time. lol

but yeah, i remember this song--in fact i still remember seein a target commercial from when that album first came out and was on sale. i couldn't stand those guys (i called 'em New Scurves on the Curb giggle) and i was the only girl in my entire 5th grade class who didn't like 'em...

All though it is just a cop-off of "Is This The End" (New Edition also written by the same person Maurice Starr) it is still a good jam.

Yeah, that is a successful songwriting technique to not bog listeners down with too much information. It helps for worldwide (multilingual) crossover appeal.

cinnie cee childhood trauma relived.

i just remembered. i don't know what year it was but whenever Hangin' Tough came out, I was outside in the back yard with my portable tape player (I would say ghettoblaster, but really in my case it's a ruralblaster), layin on a hammock.

i was listening to "please don't go girl" and just singin' my ass off along with it.
whistle ooooohh bay behhh!

when the song ended, my older sister and her friend appeared from behind a tree! eek And they started cheering, I was so embarrassed. I had no idea they were there, only a few feet away.

I think I liked this one, cause it wasn't overplayed and not too sappy, or top 40. more souful, well as souful as joey can get. Never was a fan of NKOTB, but if I thought this was a New edition song the first time I heard it..

I was working in a record store when this hideous piece of music was set loose upon the world. The only thing worse than having to actually touch the cassettes was having to listen to the riduculous conversations of the mind controlled tuneless zombies at the buttons rack on the counter 2 inches from my face going on and on and on about who was cuter and how "Jordans hat looks different in this picture".. and "Danny is such a bad boy.". and....AHHHHH FLASHBACK!!!

Pretty funny if ya ask me.....my sis' and her friends loved Jordan best (of course) but they thought Donnie was "bad" and was the coolest! I remember one memeber who I swear was gay.....It was not the frankinstein one, or the baby voice one, but the other one.....
