confused OK, now these threads got me thinkin' about different label's sounds....

So, what about Solar Records? Got favorites?

The Deele. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Lakeside on Solar for a second? I know I have the single "Relationship" written and produced by Brown Mark. That song was killing.

You know,I'm surprised that there isn't some kind of multi-disc Solar Records box set by now.You can take the best songs from that label,spanning the years 1978-1990,and compile an excellent 3-CD compilation.Some of my favorites are....

no, there WAS a "Solar box set" with at least 4 or 5 CDs out, around 15 years ago, at least in Europe ...I think it was another Street Sounds compilation, great UK label doing various collections

I didn't get the full box set though sad some stoopid recordstore actually broke it up into single CDs(!!) nutty selling those in the cut out shelve ...there I got myself CDs number 1 and 4...

Yup,They used to sell that box set as an Import here in the US (at Tower Records) years ago , but I never had the Dividends to grab it sad ....

At the time, I think it was around $110 or $120....this was around 1992 or 1993, I think... confused
