Does anyone remember her from the 80's? I used to love her song "Baby Love".
She had that Madonna sound going on (she actually sounds like Madonna on certain parts of the song). She had the wild Cyndi Lauper type look but was compared to Madonna. This is the only song I ever heard by her.

I love this song. I think her second single was called "Beat of Love" obviously not as successful..but still good. And DANNII MINOGUE did a cover of this on her debut album. Very good cover too. Check it out if u can.

I really like Dannii's verison too. Regina probably reminds people of Madonna because "Baby Love" was co-written by Steve Bray and I think was intended for Madonna. I'd like to pick up that CD. I'll look for it. Might be in the used bargin bins.

Madonna could have definitely pulled off this song. Madonna is the reason I believe we have'nt heard a thing from Regina since. It was Madonna's world back then, her music was all over radio, her videos were in heavy rotation, fans started dressing like her etc.

When I first saw this thread...I immediately thought of her. Now her, I liked. Don't know what happened. 2 of Hearts, We Connect, Shy Girl and then *poof* gone. Like Regina, Cover Girls, Nu Shooz, Company B...I think the only ones to escape was Expose and I don't know why.

I saw Nu Shooz on Where Are They Now a few years ago on VH1 and they are still happily married. I love their song I Can't Wait but the video was (in the words of my favorite/honest/music critic Simon Cowell) absolutely dreadful. Who came up with that corny idea for a music video - all types of objects floating in the air etc...great song, bad video, Thank God artist got radio airplay based off of the quality of their music back then because the video sucked. Stacey Q - the only song I know by her is 2 of Hearts, 2 hearts that beat as one, 2 of hearts, I need you I need you . I love the original lineup of Expose, very sad to hear their career ended early when one of the members fell ill and almost lost her singing voice forever. She sang lead on Let Me Be The One - I love her voice, I thought she was a better singer than the other girl that sang every other Expose track.

Did a bit of research...Cover girl went on to I guess quite a few albums...and made it on the latino charts. They were considered the latina "Supremes"

And I remember back when..Regina was compared to Madonna...I even thought she had a hand in the song, but apparently not.
