Yes,they're alright but they don't have a GUITAR player
And they sound a little too tame for me sometimes.

Problem with these new groups that follow shortly after groups such as radiohead, coldplay.. yada yada yada... its a growing cycle.. its evident that these artists are inspired by eachother..

here comes keane..

Every song has an anthem like sound, and they sound great... but the debut cd is very rushed.. they could have spent more time developing those songs.. just sounds too rushed..

2 out of 5 stars for me..

I love their album, one of my favourites of the year. I just wish they had produced it a bit better. I can't work out what he's singing most of the time.

I've only heard one song of theirs, and I liked it well enough . I do think that they sound like a "happier" Radiohead though. (in the one song that I've heard, that it)

I love this CD!

I was visiting a friend in Chicago a few months ago and went to Virgin. Upon first listen...I immediatley fell in love....so melodic...so sweeping. I hear they've been around for quite some time (since 1996-7)...

I recommend all brit-pop fans to buy this (especially since you can still find it for cheap still!)

The Keane album is pretty good and has some very good songs on. Some of the tunes are a bit kinda 'drippy' but overall it's pretty strong.

I saw them live last month at a festival and didn't expect to be very impressed with them as a live band... you know... 3 guys, 2 of them sitting down!!! But to be fair, I was wrong - the whole thing was quite animated.

It's a good album but as with all these things, whether they are a good band will show next album, and the one after that.
