Hmmm... that's a good point (her not writing it)... Now I'm torn. Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway because Everybody should be the winner! I remember the cool story she told about giving that song to a local DJ to play in a club. I also can't believe Burning Up was voted off before the other singles. LOVE that track! It's so New Wave. | |

Holiday can go. I love it, but Lucky Star has long been not only my favorite single off of this album, but also my all time favorite Madonna video PERIOD! Not Bedtime Story, not Like a Prayer, not the overrated video for Ray of Light. I want version 1.0 of Madonna - bad black tights, mesh shirt, 5,249 black bracelets, poorly lined lips, 3 inches of dark roots and bad, bad backup dancing! Lucky Star must win this one! | |

Well usually I listen to the album because of "Lucky Star", either getting in my head, or seeing that awesome video.
But when it comes down to it, the breakthrough, classic, never-ending hotness, song you can't stop (even though you sometimes wish you could, ie. on a thread like this), is the perfectly crafted "Holiday". So ha! Lucky Star bye-bye  | |
