China Crisis

Anybody A Fan Of China Crisis?

I like all their albums, but my favorites are the Walter Becker( Steely Dan) produced albums, Flaunt the Imperfection(1985) and Diary Of A Hollow Horse (1989)...

I have this one.

Does anyone have the actual lyrics to "Working With Fire and Steel". I've been trying to decifer them since 1984!

Are they still together? The last time I saw them was in Liverpool at a benefit show for striking firefighters circa 2000. They did an acoustic set, also on the bill were Pete Wylie (Wah!) and The Real People

They were one of the most underrated New Wave bands of all time. But they were a cut above the typical Synth-Pop acts. They also had some Jazz and Funk in their sound similar to Steely Dan.

My favorite songs:

You Did Cut Me
Working With Fire & Steel
Arizona Sky
Temptation's Big Blue Eyes
African & White
If You Can See It
NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
