FOLEY covers Beatles & Staple Singers link

Again, Im sorry for the Foley fans I dont have any originals. That's a legal matter.
But these are straight from him...

Heres the info:

These songs are significant for two reasons.

1. You can't guess what songs Foley covers from their catalog. Don't even try it. If you say I'll take you there and Let it be you are wrong...

2. You never know what setup he is gonna rock. He has big band/2 piece/trio/solo/ etc

3. FOLEY can materialize anywhere at some place and surprise cats being a unknown and steal the show. It's proven said and done. And Quest still hasnt said one word on HIM but Im gonna get Ahmir to talk about Foley like he does Cody.
YES we will

The first cover is a Beatles number. If I hear anyone complain that he is messing up a guitar line and that "Oh I can play that" like you some guitar tutorial funk/rock wizzzaard
Im gonna out you and put up TOTO cover he does at a miles show. That will show you a few things that the dude knows fluidity on the guitar. It's intentional, mofos. The time lapse and stutter and drums/guitar... it's not flubs.

So don't start or im gettin out the bouncing betty's and destroying you like we in Saigon. Not in his league so don't run the jabber jaw. Simple rule...

The second cover is a Staples singers cover. Im not telling you what songs that takes the fun out of it. You listen and discover for yourself. How you like them mack gnaw peaches?

2 different funky approaches and contexts. One is in the studio and one is on stage. The girl you hear in the background is Mavis Staples..in the club. And as you can tell she digs what he is doin with her families song.

The one in the studio is all Foley...

Someone might say "Wheres the originals"
Thats a artist matter. I think he would rather come out altogether then just give people what they can emulate and try to copy later on. Thats my feeling. He doesn't want a jump on artist thefting his material before he releases something.

Anyways enjoy the tracks...

I put these up for the following people

Cody fans
Questlove (wake the alarm clock)
Mavis and Staples family
John Lennon/Mccartney
Prince
The Lesson
Res
P-funk
those Mike Keneally heads..who gave it to MK personally I love u for that.
Phonte (HIT us back!)
Martin Luther
D'angelo
Saadiq
Dave Chappelle (you know you want the Difference on your show)
Miles Davis and Family
Mint...
Sly Stone
Joi
Prince.org
Bobby womack (we bringin back the funky acoustic rhythm)
James Brown

Anyone that was cool with FOLEY.... on the stage

Basically thats why you get to hear this... I will put up more

But most of em will be covers for the sole reason of no theft before release dates.

Yes he will.

Maybe an Ep first. It depends on when it coincides with a tour.
In the meantime I will keep putting up covers and what not if I get them handed to me.

But yea he has alot of music no one has heard. Correction:I haven't heard either

Maybe I will start another tree for the live CDR sampler if I get a response....

It's pretty wild all the people who respond to it who don't even know him. Even babies in families have danced to his music.
