Y'all should use dc++ for file sharing , it's fantasic !!!

(Instead of downloading seperate songs from an album,you can
download the whole album at once)

Dewrede, I don't really file share anymore because I'm afraid of being sued Do you know if this DC++ will allow authorities to trace your ip address. Is it anonymous? if not, is it legal?

I just read that in the U.S there where housesearchings by the FBI
at an internet provider and so called "heavy users"(that share 100 gb or more).
They didn't get arrested , only their computers were confiscated.
But i'm quite sure noone will bother you if you're not a so called "heavy user".

On another site i read that a judge in Canada declared it legal.


You don't need to fill in your ip address for the program , but i think , when it all comes down to it , it depends on whether your internet provider will give your ip address to the authorities .


But as i said , i'm quite sure that they won't bother you unless you share over 100gb.

Haven't gotten into it yet, what is the minimum gb's you have to share?

It depends on the hub , but the more you share the more hubs are available(check the faq for
info about hubs)
And if you have little to share there'll not be many hubs available for you.
(btw that's the only disadvantage of the program i.m.o)
For some the minimum you have to share is 1 gb.
But for the majority you need to share at least 10 up to 60
For some even more

If you want to search for whole albums choose ''directory'' in '' file type''
And in "search options" enable ''only users with free slots''
