besides prince what other artists and music do y'all listen to?

I listen to stevie wonder right now i'm listening to music of my mind for the first time my favorite tracks are [seems so long ] [i love every little thing about ya].Other artists I listen to are otis redding,maxwell,seal,marvin,d'angelo,stylistics,e,w,f, curtis mayfield, old school is cool,brian mcknight. since I like to sing along I don't listen to women too much but I indeed do love them some faves mariah,angie stone,roberta flack.also like rock music-led zep,todd rundgren,sweet,radiohead, bjork,joe satriani,jimi of course what do you like? lol

Okay, to name a few:

Jazz: My favorite genre. Favorite jazz artists: In addition to Miles, Monk, Duke and Trane, Cannonball Adderley, Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter and Ella Fitzgerald.

Hip-hop: A revolutionary but decaying genre. Favorite hip-hop artists: PE, ATCQ, De La Soul, Common, Ice Cube, The Roots, MF Doom, Gang Starr, among many, many others.

Soul: Both old and new. Favorite soul artists: Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sade, Me'Shell Ndegeocello, among many, many others.

Pop: Various 70's and 80's tunes and I am a fan of certain bands. Favorite pop artists include Jamiroquai.

Rock: Favorite rock artists include Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan, The Police, Nirvana, The Beatles, Sting, Peter Gabriel and Kiss.

Ambient/electronica/nu jazz: Favorites include Madlib, jazzanova, Zero 7, Yesterday's New Quintet and DJ Mark Farina.
